Frank Bloomfield
Board Chair
Professor Frank Bloomfield is the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research) for Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland. He is also Professor of neonatology and a former consultant neonatologist at Auckland City Hospital. He was previously Director of the Liggins Institute and President of the Perinatal Society of Australia and New Zealand.
Adrienne Cleland

Adrienne Cleland is Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Operations) and Registrar, responsible for Finance, IT, Property, Communications and Marketing, Academic and Shared Services, Organisational Performance, Planning and Information, Campus Life, Legal and Risk functions at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland.
John Fraser
Board Member
Professor John Fraser is the former Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland. His groundbreaking research in molecular aspects of the immune response resulted in the now widely accepted model of how superantigens work. He was the inaugural Wellcome Trust (UK) Senior Fellow in Medical Science (1992). John holds a Personal Chair in Molecular Medicine and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of New Zealand.
Dawn Freshwater

Globally recognised as a leader in world-class universities for more than a decade, Professor Dawn Freshwater became Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland's first female Vice-Chancellor in March 2020 after serving as the University of Western Australia's Vice-Chancellor and Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Registrar for six years (2014-2020).
Tony McNaught

Tony McNaught has over 30 years' experience in local and international mergers and acquisitions and led the national corporate finance division for KPMG until 2014. He now consults through his own firm, Lake Road Corporate Finance.
Riria Te Kanawa
Board Member
Riria (Missy) Te Kanawa (Ng膩ti Maniapoto, Tainui-o-Tainui, Ng膩ti Porou, Ng膩ti Koata, Ng膩ti Rarua, Ng膩ti Toa) is a Partner and National Industry Lead - M膩ori at KPMG New Zealand. She is an experienced strategist, governor and lead author of KPMG鈥檚 Maui Rau report series on how M膩ori entities and businesses can advance prosperity for their people.
John Villiger
Board Member
John Villiger holds a PhD in neuroscience and spent 25 years in the pharmaceutical industry working predominantly in drug development. He was co-founder of the Medicines Company in the USA and is currently an Honorary Associate Professor at the Centre for Brain Research, University of Auckland.
