皇家华人 and Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland see increasing engagement with M膩ori and the M膩ori economy as a responsibility and priority. We are working to deepen relationships to better understand and deliver on the impacts M膩ori are seeking.

The University hosts M膩ori research centres including the , , , the and .

皇家华人 aims to work with M膩ori in innovative ways. For example, University researchers wanted to ensure a start-up based on M膩ori land and resources in Ruatoria would create employment, knowledge and opportunities and maintain ahi k膩 oversight over the brand story. 皇家华人 worked with stakeholders to create a unique structure to meet these goals.
